GUITARS
Wait, guitars? What's going on here?
What's going on is you've stumbled upon something of an Easter Egg here on the Gatcomb Painting & Design website. So congratulations...and welcome to this hidden page.
If you've read my short bio on the MEET THE PROPRIETOR page, you already know that my love of woodworking and music led me to establish a small operation that hand-crafted musical instruments. As Gatcomb Co. expanded, so too did my expertise in applying professional finishes. With catchy names like "Galactic Cherry Sparkle" and "Electric Eggplant", Gatcomb Co. finishes became relatively well-known among both amateur and professional musicians.
I've long been out of the luthiery trade, but I occasionally find the time to accommodate requests from musicians looking to have their instruments refinished. From custom tints and levels of metallic flake to historic and contemporary clearcoats, the options for your instrument are endless. I can't promise I'll have time to take on your project, but it never hurts to reach out and ask.
