PAPER FINISHES
Commonly known as "crinkle paper" or tissue paper faux, this finish adds depth to a flat surface. Depending on the sheen of the finish and the level of "crinkle" desired, the wall may appear unremarkable from a distance until the 3D effect becomes obvious upon closer inspection. Like any faux finish, the possibilities for this treatment are endless. It makes a stunning accent wall or entertainment center surround, and looks at home on ceilings and walls alike. decorator. Paper was applied over an asphalt-tinted base coat, with layers of black paint on top of the paper. The
final step was a gloss clearcoat to bring out the character of the finish.
